Matching set of four country Hepplewhite chairs, circa 1780, in fruitwood with rush seats. These elegant chairs will, before long, be 250 years old yet remain sturdy and totally usable on every day basis with good tight joints and no wobblyness. Traces of old and long dead worm in one section of one chair and rush is old and somewhat careworn but has lots of life left in it.

Georgian Chest on stand
A good Lincolnshire pine dresser from the latter part of the 19th century. Standing on six turned feet it has an unusual layout insomuch as, in addition to the three left hand and single central drawers there is a grain bin (oh so useful for its original purpose, a flour sack, large bag of dog food, perhaps a bottle store for your favourite tipple or a storage area for almost anything that will fit within) behind three false drawer fronts on the right side. Central drawer has two removable original partitions and 'dog kennel' accessed by cupboard door has a single shelf. Absolutely without even a trace of woodworm anywhere and has the most beautiful horizontal back boards. Glass handles are almost certainly the originals but if they are not to your taste we can fit period turned wooden knobs at no extra cost if you'd prefer. Will it fit in the space you have? - 15 cm wide by 56 cm deep and 74 cm high.
