Plymouth Sound and Hoe 19th century lithographs
Thermograph by Short & Mason from the first half of the twentieth century. This instrument measures just over 10 by 5 inches and the case in anodised copper (would of course polish if required) with a cast brass main frame. The long duration clockwork movement functions well and even the ink receptacle still has half its contents. All you need is the special graph paper and a new spring loaded stylus to enable this piece to take its place beside your barograph to record the immediate temperature variants over a period. £95
